RMS (Records Management System)
In regard to Public Safety, Records Management Systems (RMS) are often interfaced to public safety communication centers. RMSs are sometimes accessed directly through computer systems deployed within communication centers for research and analysis purposes. Records Management Systems contain highly confidential information such as criminal activity, ongoing investigations, personal medical data, and the location of valuable items and other confidential information.
